INDUSTRIES

Extensive knowledge of several industries

The construction industry

A portable cabin is no longer just a portable cabin. Legal requirements and employees demand excellent facilities.

When employees without a fixed work area are offered comfortable and hygienic conditions, their efficiency is increased, absence is reduced, and it is easier to retain good employees.

Flexibility in a company is important, regardless of the size.  Stationary modules on building sites involve a significant amount of logistics.  You need to order lorries that have a crane, prepare the site and much more.  Mobile solutions enable the individual employee to have a portable cabin and place it where they wish.

Our solution

Scanvogn’s roots are based in the construction industry, which is why we have extensive experience of producing portable cabins for this industry.

Our aim is to deliver a product of the best quality with a considered design, to give the builder the most effective work tool with a long lifetime.

The construction industry in particular benefits from our standard solutions for portable cabins.  By selecting a standard solution, the price is kept low and the customer gets a product that has been tested in the industry over many years.  There are many portable cabins on the market today, but none can rival the level of detail that Scanvogn supplies. The events industry

The events industry is the most innovative industry.  The customer and events planner is innovative and solutions-oriented and more ready to let go of old ideas and principles.

When a festival, concert or other event is held for a very brief and limited period, having reliable products that are easy to install is essential to the event’s success.  An event lasting a couple of days can often take several years to plan.

Serving places, food stalls, admittance control, coordinating security and sanitary conditions must all come together, and for every additional minute guests queue, you lose turnover.

Guests currently pay a relatively large amount of money to attend events, and events organisers are increasingly required to provide good facilities, especially clean and accessible toilets and washing facilities.

Our solution

Scanvogn provides portable cabins to all of the biggest festivals in the Nordics.  We work with the biggest event organisers and rental companies. Without their constant feedback, the events industry would not be at the stage it is today.

Our products cover almost all possible aspects of an event.  We provide backstage solutions, ticket cabins, security centrals, sales cabins, refrigeration vehicles and mobile kitchens. The sky’s the limit!

We are particularly known for our sanitation solutions, where we produce everything from toilet solutions for garden parties to large toilet cabins with a capacity for 700 visits an hour.

And with our water-saving vacuum systems, the organiser can save 90% of water, which not only results in major savings, but also saves the environment and ensures a more stable water pressure during the event.

Emergencies and disasters

Disasters and conflicts often affect those areas in the world that are already struggling. The people in these areas need help to manage the crisis or re-build what they have lost.

Aid organisations often set up camps, where they house victims and provide various forms of emergency help.  This has many different challenges with regards logistics, protection against weather conditions, and hygiene.

Areas struck by disaster often have a poor infrastructure, and help needs to get there as quickly as possible. This means that help often needs to be flown in, which requires many resources. Extreme heat and cold requires significant temperature regulations, while drought and rainfall can lead to dust and damp, making it harder to provide emergency aid.

Last, but not least, response time is a significant factor. When a crisis strikes, tents are normally set up, after which a more stable or semi-permanent solution is provided where emergency aid can be provided. The shorter the response time, the greater the chance of minimising the scope of the crisis.

Our solution

Scanvogn delivered a complete camp solution to Africa during the Ebola crisis in 2014.  We have since worked with aid organisations to develop a flexible, light-weight camp systems called CampCubes.

The system is module based, and only a minimum amount of tools is required to assemble a complete camp. All installations, such as washing facilities, toilets, kitchens etc., work as a plug & play solution. That’s why you can assemble a complete unit in approx. one hour.

The system uses the same type of panels as in our portable cabins. That’s why they have a high insulation efficiency with fiberglass surfaces, which can be kept clean and sterilised. The floor has adjustable feet, which helps keep dust and bacteria away. The system can be packed into containers or flatpacks and lifted out of the machinery.

CampCubes offer a ‘perfect’ combination of response time and flexibility.  Units can be assembled in an extremely short time and do not require any special tools or previous construction experience. Whether for hospitals, patient accommodation, toilet and washing facilities, canteens or simply and onsite office, these are quick and easy to assemble.
